Today marks the release of Sony's highly anticipated PSP Go. 505 Games in conjunction with 1C Company will be amongst the first to support the new platform by releasing IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey as a digital download via the PSP Portal. The game will be available for $29.99.
SME Dynamic Systems Limited is able to take advantage of the PSP’s considerable graphical capabilities and produce a handheld format that bears notable familiarity to the home console versions of IL-2 . The PSP campaign unveils 30 thrilling missions across six major WWII battlefields with over 30 aircraft recreated in stunning detail (14 available for the player to pilot). The non-linear campaign allows players to pick any mission and unlock new ones as they are completed.
Since its 4th September release, IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey has been earning rave reviews across all formats from UK press including a pair of 9/10 scores from both Official Xbox 360 Magazine and Official PlayStation Magazine. Other highlights include 8/10's from EDGE and Gamesmaster as well as 88% from Inc Gamers and a 9/10 from Xbox World 360.
IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey is available now for Xbox 360, PS3, DS and PSP from publisher 505 Games in association with 1C Company.
