EVEN GREATER CHALLENGES

The battlefields in DYNASTY WARRIORS: Strikeforce are more frantic than ever with roughly three times the opponents on screen compared to the release for PSP system. It’s imperative that players work together as a team and find ways to overcome the challenges and obstacles that stand between them and victory.

AERIAL COMBAT AND “LOCK-ON” TARGETING

While immense fortresses, towers, and ships serve as the settings for these legendary quests, the supernatural abilities of the game’s combatants will let players take the lighting-fast action to where it has never gone before- the skies above.

Enemies and allies will streak across the sky. Players themselves will have this power and the ability to “lock-on” to enemies in the air and on land. The “lock-on” marker will even change color to indicate the effectiveness of the currently equipped weapon against the targeted opponent.

THE “FURY” TRANSFORMATION

New “Fury” transformations give characters even greater supernatural abilities and attacks, including lightning fast speed and the ability to fly. Warriors can now take to the skies and face off against their foes in spectacular aerial combat.

In Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce, the Fury gauge takes the place of the Musou gauge. When the player attacks or is hit, the Fury gauge will fill up. Once full, the player can transform into a state of “Fury”. Unlike the Musou attack, the Fury itself is not an attack; rather it results in a dramatic improvement to the characters’ various abilities, and in an amazing transformation in the characters’ appearance.

“ORBS” AND “CHI”

The Chi system lets you add various abilities to your character, such as lightning fast movement or the ability to hover in mid-air. Orbs enable you to further customize the game’s more than 250 weapons.

HYPERBREAK GAUGE

From time-to-time an enemy officer may enter into a “hyper” state. While in this hyper state the officer possess heightened abilities. Depending on the number of players, up to four “hyper break” gauges will appear below the enemy officer’s life bar. Each player is assigned to a “hyper break” gauge. Attacking the officer will deplete the assigned gauge. When all of the gauges have been fully depleted the hyper break state will be cancelled and the officer will drop a special item.

COMMANDING AI-CONTROLLED OFFICERS

In Single Player mode, players can issue separate orders to AIcontrolled officers on their team by using the controller. AIcontrolled officers can be directed to attack low-ranking foot soldiers, attack armories or large scale weapons or engage enemy officers. AI-controlled officers can also be asked to remain near the player or fight autonomously.

CITIES

Within the walls of the game’s different cities, players can enlist in new quests, change equipment, buy and sell items, and customize their character using Orbs and Chi. Fortune tellers have been added to the home console version of DYNASTY WARRIORS: Strikeforce. Fortune tellers will appear in cities once certain conditions have been fulfilled. Players can speak to fortune tellers to play a mini game of roulette. If players win, their abilities will be increased for a certain period of time.

ADD-ON CONTENT

KOEI will offer new content for Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. Additional quests will be available free-of-charge, through PlayStation Store and Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
